Jason Brown Obituary
Jason Lee Brown, 42, died at 7:14 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at his brother's home in Forest surrounded by his loving family after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
He was born Feb. 17, 1980, in Kenton, to Wesley R. Brown and Linda L. (McQuistion) Brown. His father and stepmother, Teri Brown, survive in Dunkirk, and his mother survives in Athens, Ohio.
He is survived also by his daughters, Makayla Brown of Forest and Raelynn Hesson of Carey; brother, Tim (Tammy Moore) Brown of Forest; sister, Kassandra Brown-Manfre of Upper Sandusky; granddaughter, June White; and grandmother, Sandie Wilkins of Houcktown.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Brown; uncle, Jeff McQuistion; and cousins, Daniel Phillips, Chip Brown, and Ty Farthing.
Jason loved to fish, garden, work on cars, and watch football. He really loved his granddaughter and thought his grandmother, Sandie, was special.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Jason's funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and Pastor James Robinette will officiate. Interment will be private. A dinner will follow the service at 1st Baptist Church.
Memorials may be given to Crates Funeral Home or 1st Baptist Church, 206 North Martin Street, Forest, Ohio, 45843.
