Janice Jumper Obituary

Janice Snookie Jumper

Janice "Snookie" Kay Jumper, 85, of Findlay, died Saturday, May 17, 2025, at her home. She was born April 8, 1940, in Findlay, to Joseph and Garnet (Van Atta) Pugh. She married Franklin S. Jumper on October 26, 1961, and he died November 3, 2019.

Janice is survived by a son, Franklin (Kristine) Jumper, of Kokomo, Indiana; daughters, Garnet Roddy and Kathey Hankins, both of Findlay. She has nince grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Joretta Hilvers; brothers, Robert, Denny, and Fred Pugh; and a grandchild.

Janice worked as a housekeeper for the University of Findlay for 21 years, retiring in 2005. Janice enjoyed playing bingo, camping, dressing up like Santa, and Halloween festivities. She was a devoted grandmother and really loved family get-togethers. Janice was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, in Findlay. Private interment will happen at a later date.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Parkinson's Research or American Cancer Society.

Janice was a smiling friend all of her life. She was my first net-door neighbor in Findlay, and I valued her friendship. My sympathies flow to all of her family.
