Janet Fay Puskas

Janet Fay Puskas, 74, of Findlay, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

Janet was born Dec. 27, 1948, in Martins Ferry, to the late George and Mary (Caprita) Puskas. She married Terry Howard Sr. and moved to Findlay from Bridgeport. Terry preceded her in death.

Janet is survived by her four sons, Terry Alan (Jennifer) Jr., Steven Paul, Kevin Jay, and Christopher Michael; stepson, Tab Arthur; grandchildren, Henry, Alexis, and Griffin; and brother, Michael John Puskas.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Marie Fox; and brother, George Puskas Jr.

She attended East Foulke Ave. Church of God where she taught children's Sunday School and Bible School. Janet was a member and treasurer of Christian Women's Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Findlay. She loved being a "stay at home" mother and baby sat for many of her working friends' children.

Janet's sons were her gifts from God. She was a cancer survivor from 1965 to the present. Janet was a people person and was blessed to share her love of God with many.

Janet will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. Janet's graveside service will be 12 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at Riverview Cemetery, North 8th Street, Martins Ferry.
