Janet Fraley Obituary
Janet E. Fraley, 70, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at her home.
She was born July 23, 1953, in Fostoria, to Daniel Richard and Alice Marie (Hammer) Hark. She married Carl D. Fraley on Dec. 7, 1979, and he preceded her in death July 21, 1995.
Janet is survived by a brother, Kenneth (Tina) Hark Sr. of Fostoria; sister, Virginia (Tim) Moore of Carey; sister-in-law, Jean Ann Hark of Carey; stepdaughter, Kim Riblet of Indiana; two stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Christopher; and several nephews and nieces.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Daniel and Stephen Hark; nephew, Timothy Moore Jr.; and stepson, David Fraley.
Janet was a homemaker and worked at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin. She was a 1971 graduate of St. Wendelin High School and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin and St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830, where a Vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery. Following burial, there will be a funeral luncheon at the parish hall at the church.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Seneca County Humane Society or Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio in care of the funeral home.
