Diane Mary McAlexander

Diane Mary McAlexander, 79 of Findlay, passed away at 7:58 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. Diane was born in Wyandot County, May 30, 1946, to the late Herman F. Emerine and Josephine (Armbruster) Emerine.

Diane was married to Neil McAlexander, October 26, 1968, and he survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Pam (Jeff) Osborne of Findlay; two grandchildren, Alec Osborne and Cameron Osborne (Kaylee- fiancé); a sister, Joyce A. Butcher of Findlay; a special niece, Paula (Bob) Fugate; many nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Karen (John) Fitzpatrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William F. Emerine, John J. Emerine and Herman F. Emerine Jr.

She was a 1964 graduate of Carey High School. She retired from Blanchard Valley Hospital after working for over 30 years. She was a member of Howard United Methodist Church in Findlay. Diane enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as well as her sister Joyce. She had many hobbies, including taking trips to Amish country, crocheting, square dancing, watching sprint car racing and camping.

Private family visitation will be at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. Private burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.

Memorials in Diane's name are suggested to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840 or Howard United Methodist Church, 220 Cherry Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
