James Hendricks Obituary
James Franklin "Jim" Hendricks, 63, of Findlay, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Jim was born March 7, 1960, in Findlay, to Lowell F. and Sheila (Pugh) Hendricks. He married Sonja S. (Oman) Hendricks, the absolute love of his life, on June 13, 1980, at the home of his aunt, Sonja, who preceded Jim in death just two weeks and two days ago on May 16, 2023.
Jim is survived by his son, James W. Hendricks; grandson, Nathan Hendricks; brother, Mark Hendricks; two sisters, Dorotha (Dave) Young and Melissa Hendricks; and dog, Cammie.
Following graduation from Findlay High School in 1978, Jim joined U.S. National Guard and he served our country for five years. Upon returning to Findlay, he began work at Cooper Tire and Rubber. He also worked for Freudenburg NOK Sealing technologies and The Courier.
Visitation for family and friends will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. Jim's funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery with military rites by Hancock County Veteran Memorial Squad.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hendricks family in care of Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
