James Fenbert Obituary

James Wilbur Fenbert

James Wilbur Fenbert, 66, of Findlay, also a long-time resident of Newport News, Virginia, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born January 14, 1959, to the late Wilbur J. and Alice (DeGraeve) Fenbert in Findlay.

James is survived by two brothers, Robert (Beulah) Fenbert of Smyrna, Tennessee, and Michael Fenbert of Findlay; a sister, Marsha (Keith) Rolston of Findlay; seven nieces and nephews, Ian, Lindsay, Amy, Mindy, Allison, Lorrie and Tiffany; as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

He was a 1977 graduate of Findlay High School and a 1982 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering. He was employed at Rockwell International and NASA. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Findlay.

James always loved playing video games with his family and friends online. They spent many hours interacting and having fun.

Visitation for friends and family will take place from 10 a.m.- noon Friday, August 1, 2025, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay. Followed by a graveside service at 12:15 p.m. Friday at St. Michael's Cemetery.

Memorials may be given, in James' name, to Cancer Patient Services, 1800 North Blanchard Street, Suite120, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
