Jacqueline Curtin

Jacqueline Curtin, 67, of Forest, received her angel wings Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family following a long and valiant fight with lung and heart disease.

She was born August 1, 1957, in Kenton to the late Jack and Ann L. (McKinley) Curtin. She first married Robert (Joe) Lininger in June 1977, and they later divorced but remained close until her death. She later married Allen Barry Jr. in December 2005 and they were together until his death in 2017.

Her proudest achievements were her two sons, Joseph R. Lininger and Phillip (Dani) Lininger, both of Sycamore. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Drew, Ryan, Koy, Emma, Jack, Maverick, Parker, Payten, Piper, James, Corwin, and Aiden; and great-grandchildren, Grayson, Jasper, and Elias; as well as a daughter-in-law, Amanda Lininger. Also surviving are a brother, Tim Curtin of Columbus; sisters, Brenda Watson of North Baltimore and Lori Curtin of Forest; several nieces and nephews; a very special friend, Kathy Kilbride; and a very special neighbor, Johnny Lawrence. She is also survived by many children that she provided care for in her home that were like family to her.

She worked many years for part manufacturers in Upper Sandusky and Tiffin. She was a devoted childcare provider in her later life and loved attending her sons' and grandchildren's school and sporting events.

Jackie was a member of Heritage Christian Union Church of Forest. She loved God and is now in his presence. She has found peace and wishes peace to all those who mourn her passing.

There will be a celebration of her life at the Curtin family home in Forest, which will be announced at a later date. Burial will be at Hueston Cemetery outside of Forest.
