In 1951, Jack accepted Christ as his savior and began a life-time of service to the Lord he loved so dearly. He faithfully served as a junior boys Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, deacon, and trustee for many years at Calvery Baptist Church, Findlay, and later at various churches in Colorado and South Carolina.
Jack retired from Marathon Oil Company in 1986 where he worked as a stationary engineer for 30 years. He continued to work in the
Greenville, South Carolina area until his early 80s at BBA Fiberweb Simpsonville, and BiLo, Inc. During his retirement years, he enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his beloved Bea. Most of their trips involved visiting their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Linda (Robert) Taylor of
