Ivan Paul Steinhour Jr.

Ivan Paul Steinhour Jr., 66, of Findlay, sailed into Heaven's Harbor on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, from The Heritage while surrounded by family.

Paul was born Jan. 24, 1958, in Richland, Washington to Army service member Ivan and Donna (Sulser) Steinhour Sr. Paul married Debra Henderson on Oct. 23, 1976, and they later divorced. In their 30 years of marriage, they raised four beautiful children.

In life, Paul was a truck driver for Findlay Truck Line and Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, but his passion was music. He was part of the southern gospel group, The Fishermen Quartet, where he composed beautiful songs praising the Lord and all his glory. Paul was a prominent member of Upper Room Church of God where he was highly involved playing piano and wore many hats.

Those left behind to cherish Paul's memory are Debra (Steve) Roberts; children, Shane (Tammie) Steinhour, Heather Houck, and Brandie (Melchisdec) Waples, all of Findlay, and Isaac Paul (Michelle) Steinhour of Columbus.; 13 grandchildren and soon to be six great-grandchildren he was blessed with; mother, Donna Steinhour; siblings, Deborah (Brad) Kemerley, Keith (Tracy) Steinhour, and Dana Aspell (Jerry), all of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Ivan Paul Steinhour Sr.

Visitation for friends and family will be 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Paul's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at Upper Room Church of God, 520 W. Bigelow Ave., Findlay, visitation from 10-11 a.m. Bishop Terry McBeath and Pastor Ken McBeath will preside. Interment will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of The Heritage and Bridge Hospice.
