Glenn Fisher

Glenn James Fisher, 72, passed away peacefully the morning of Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Findlay. He was born September 23, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Earle and Helena (Maloney) Fisher.

Glenn is survived by his son, Colin Fisher, and his wife Esther, with their three children, Simcha, Yosef, and Chana Fisher, of Mount Carmel, Israel; and by his daughter, Claire Peterson, and her husband Austin, along with their four children, Samuel, Jonathan, Elaine, and Christine Peterson, of Findlay.

A father, grandfather, and a man of quiet strength and uncommon gentleness.

Glenn was not a loud man, nor one who demanded attention. He lived softly, thoughtfully, and with respect for those around him. He carried a humble spirit and a kind heart, and he never imposed his will on others. Those who knew him understood that beneath his quiet nature was a man of deep character - a true diamond.

He valued family greatly and showed that love not only in words, but in action. He chose to be near his children and grandchildren, and nothing brought him more joy than time spent with them. His presence was steady, patient, and safe.

Glenn was a lifelong learner - a reader, a thinker, a craftsman. His curiosity was wide, his knowledge deep, and his interests unique. Yet above all, he was a man who would help others gladly if he could, without recognition or expectation.

Glenn trusted in the grace and finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, believing that what Christ accomplished on the cross was sufficient. His life reflected the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:29: "Learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart."

These words describe Glenn well.

He loved his family deeply, and he is deeply loved and missed in return; his influence will live on through the values and strength he instilled in us all.

A private burial will take place in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown, Massachusetts.
