Gary Sherrieb Obituary

Gary Lee Sherrieb

Gary Lee Sherrieb, 83, of Findlay passed away on July 18, 2022 at 3:49AM at The Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born on May 17, 1939 in Freeport, Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Olive (Faulkner) Sherrieb.

Gary is survived by his wife Patricia (Williams) Sherrieb, son Kevin (Jennifer) Sherrieb; daughter Kelly (Leigh) Sherrieb-Johnson, and brothers: Mervin Sherrieb, David (Sue) Sherrieb, and Bruce (Sharon) Sherrieb. He is also survived by grandchildren: Alaina (Cedric) Ceballos, Joseph (Lauren) Sherrieb, and Brooke (Austin) Sherrieb; and great-granchildren: Eleanor Sherrieb and one on the way. Gary is preceded in death by son Ryan Sherrieb, brother Rolland Sherrieb, and grandson Michael Sherrieb.

Gary proudly served his country in The United States Marines. He was a former member of The Knights of Columbus. He was a golf fanatic and enjoyed playing in the Red Hawk golf club.

Visitation for Gary will be held on Friday, July 22nd from 5:00-8:00pm at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 W. Sandusky St. Findlay. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23rd at 1:00PM at The St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 750 Bright Road Findlay, with Father Grodi officiating. Burial with full military honors will take place on July 23rd, 2022 at St. Michael Cemetery following the funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Gary's honor to The Hancock County Humane Society, 4550 Fostoria Ave. Findlay.
