Everett Burke Obituary
Everett C. Burke, 91, of Findlay, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born May 12, 1931, in Tazewell, Tennessee, the son of the late Herman and Axie (Bull) Burke. He married Ruthie Weaver on Oct. 5, 1953, and she preced him in death April 1, 2010.
Survivors include his sons, Michael (Beverly) Burke of Findlay and Brian (Paige) Burke of Haskins; daughters, Cathie (David) Bozo and Karen McGuire, both of Findlay; grandchildren, Jodi (Jeff) Holtgreven, Eric (Heather) Powell, Susann (David) Hocanson, Kimberly Powell, Jason (Rebecca) Bozo, Sara (Matt) Burke-Kondik, Lauren Burke, Hanna (David) Schultz, Matthew (LeAnna) McGuire, Brooke (Matt) Ibarra, Morgan Burke, and Zakariah Burke; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; son, Ronnie Burke; daughter, Brenda Powell; grandson, Chase McGuire; and sister, Ruth Mountain.
Everett was a Korean War veteran in U.S. Army. He managed West Park Greenhouse and was a sales representative and the Gun Club manager at Jaqua's Fine Guns in Findlay. He enjoyed trap shooting in various clubs around the area and state. He was an avid fisherman.
Everett's funeral will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bridge Hospice Center, Findlay. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrenctrates.com. COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, is assisting family with arrangements.

My condolences to Everett's family. I always enjoyed speaking with him when he worked for Jaqua's. He was such a fine person, and we had several dealings during that time of which we both enjoyed the processes. Everett was very polite and a 'down-to-earth' person. A very pleasant person to be around, and I'm sure will be missed by all. Great memories; sending prayers for family.

I was blessed to have known him my whole life. My father Jack Smith was great friends with him and many times I was able to go to the house to visit with him in the Mrs looking at poinsettia`s at work or even looking at the guns at Jaques when he was there. So many wonderful memories I have of him. A blessing

I always enjoyed Everett. I meet him when he shot trap at my grandfather's Fisher Bros gun club. So many years ago, but so many fond memories. Prayers to the family. Luanne (Fout) Bailey
