1977 - 2025
Elisa M. Johnson, 47, Hibbing, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at her home in Hibbing. She was born August 27, 1977, to Ludwig and Laura (Brown) Johnson in Park Rapids, MN.
Elisa was creative and would express it with painting. She enjoyed watching movies and shows as pastimes, and spending time with her family and friends was everything to her.
Elisa is survived by her children, Kenci (Connors Bryans) Johnson, Hibbing, MN, and Taylor Casey of Bovey, MN; her siblings, Larry Tordsen of Grand Rapids, MN, and Michael Beck of Taconite, MN; her dad, Dale Mattfeld of Taconite, MN; and one grandchild, August Bryans. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Laura (Brown) Johnson.
A celebration of Life for Elisa will begin at 10:00 am, Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Taconite Community Center in Taconite, MN. A potluck will follow so feel free to bring something to eat in her honor. Arrangements are entrusted to the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
