Elinor Hites Obituary
Elinor Hites, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Vancrest in Upper Sandusky.
She was born July 12, 1940, in Milan Michigan, to George and Addie Southward. They then moved to Forest, where she attended Riverdale High School. She has two brothers, Carl (Jean) Southward, both are deceased, Donnie (Bev) Southward in Forest, and Bev, deceased.
She was married to Walter Williams, divorced, they had three children, Robyn Williams of Bettesville, and she has one daughter, Sarah (Josh) Smith of Findlay, and they have two daughters, Kenadie and one stepdaughter, Kylie Smith. Kevin (Tammy) Williams of Lapeer, Michigan, have one daughter, Jessica Williams. Kevin also has one son Jonathan (Melissa) Smith, and they have one child Alex and are from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Connie (Dave) Flanigan has two children, Stephanie (Briana) Walter of Bowling Green and Steven Walter in Toledo. Connie also has two stepchildren, Ashley (Kurt) Breidenbach from Findlay and they have a son, Ethan and Tricia Flanigan with one daughter, Kaylee Thomas, also of Findlay.
Elinor married Glen Moll, deceased. They were married for 29 years. He has four children, Randy Moll, deceased, Alan Moll, deceased, and Brad Moll, deceased, her stepdaughter, Theresa Newman of Marion, has two children Jason Molnar, deceased, and Nate Molnar of Marion.
Elinor was also married to Glen Hites(deceased) of Kenton for 13 years, and they lived in Upper Sandusky.
Elinor enjoyed watching the Ohio State football games and Cleveland Indians-Guardians. She also enjoyed watching her soap operas, Hallmark movies, working on puzzles, crocheting and driving around in the Chevrolet Convertible. She also enjoyed sitting on the patio with her dogs.
Family graveside services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Zion Bloom Cemetery, Vanlue, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to a charity of your choice and can be sent to Lucas Batton Funeral Home, 476 S Sandusky Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351
