E. Ione "Susie" Morrison

Elizabeth Ione "Susie" Morrison, 89, of Findlay, died the afternoon of Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at her home under the care of Bridge Home Health Hospice, Findlay.

Susie was born Aug. 5, 1934, in Rawson, to George K. and Ervena (Timmons) Cogley. She married Thomas L. Morrison on May 2, 1954, and he preceded her in death Oct. 28, 2023.

Susie was a member of the first graduating class of Cory-Rawson High School in 1952. She was owner/operator of Susie's Monogramming for more than 50 years and co-owner of Morrison Electric.

Susie was an avid crafter and loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, and baking. Her grandsons and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Susie is survived by her son, Michael L. (Janet) Morrison of Rawson; three grandsons, Preston (Allison) of Findlay, Ryan (Kimberly) of Washington Court House, and Samuel (Jamie) of Raymond; four great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Caleb, Hailey, and Parker; sister, Martha Unruh; and two sisters-in-law, Nancy Cogley and Doris Cogley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Gemima Cogley, Helen Cogley, Betty Shafer, Daniel Cogley, Jacob Cogley, Leah Mehaffey, and David Cogley.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, until the time of Susie's funeral at 11 a.m. at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Ave, Findlay. The Rev. Gregg Fox will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
