Douglas L. Schwartz

Douglas Louis Schwartz, 81, passed away at 1:06 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, The Manor at Greendale, Findlay.

He was born Dec. 22, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to G. Marcus and Hazel (Flink) Schwartz. He married Sue Carol Brown and she survives.

Douglas is also survived by a daughter, Jodie (Dan) Sheehan; stepson, Randy Shamp; stepdaughter, Jennifer Perkins; and three brothers, Greg Schwartz, Mark (Sherry) Schwartz, and Brad (Jan) Schwartz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gail; son, Paul Kulek; and stepson, Bobby Shamp.

Upon graduating from high school, Douglas began work as a truck driver. He continued to work in the transportation industry for a number years, ending his career with City Car Company.

Douglas' favorite meal was a pepperoni pizza to which he applied a generous amount of salt. It was said "he could have eaten it every day and been very happy."

According to Mr. Schwartz's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
