Douglas R. Peters

Douglas R. Peters, 80, of Findlay, died at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Bridge Hospice, Findlay.

He was born Oct. 25, 1942, in North Baltimore, to the late Virgil and Eleanor (Hopper) Peters. He married Barbara E. Borgelt on April 30, 1967, and she survives.

Douglas is also survived by a son, Michael D. Peters; daughter, Rebecca L. (James) Coward of Findlay; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Riley and Alexis Coward; and sister-in-law, Sue Peters, and her children.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Steven and William Peters.

Doug retired from Whirlpool Corporation and he enjoyed playing golf, reading, traveling, spending time with his grandchildren and with his loving wife, and watching "March Madness." He enjoyed spending time outdoors, keeping up with his yard work, and attending his grandchildren's soccer games.

Visitation will be 3:30-5 and 6-7 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.

Memorials may be given to Cancer Patient Services.
