Douglas Auchmuty Obituary
Douglas R. Auchmuty, 69, of North Baltimore, died at 8:52 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born January 17, 1956, in Lima to Rolland and Janet (Krohn) Auchmuty. He married Tonya Eaken on August 15, 1992, and she survives.
Doug is also survived by his father, Rolland (Bev) Auchmuty; son, Douglas Auchmuty; daughters, Ashley Lamb, Regina Rader, Kelly Rader and Delneta Eaken; brothers, Jeff (Melissa) Auchmuty, Scott (Fran) Auchmuty, Kevin (Jill) Auchmuty, Tony (Lynette) Auchmuty, Neil (Alice Smith) Auchmuty, and Mark Risser; sisters, Cindy Clymer and Deb (Scott) Parkins; grandchildren, Skyler, Tyler, Atlanta, Johnie, Bryson, Xandria, Mackenzie, Reese, and Benjamin; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Auchmuty.
Doug retired from Roki, and had worked for Norbalt Rubber from 1979-2008. After his retirement he went to work for Casey's Sales and Service in North Baltimore.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Bill Cook officiating. Burial will be at Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Smith-Crates Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Street, N. Baltimore, OH 45872.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I was a school mate and good friend of Doug's Mother, Janet Krohn Auchmuty. I remember how happy and proud she was when he was born. We had a lot of good times together and I miss her a lot.
