Donna Bland Obituary

Donna Lou Bland

Donna Lou Bland, 87, of Findlay, passed away peacefully June 1, 2025, at her residence with her loving family at her side.

Donna was born February 17, 1938, in Wyandot County, to Charles and Clara (Bash) Wentz. She married her husband, William Bland, October 24, 1959. Together, they had two children, Amie (Scott Dutton) and Douglas. Additionally, Donna had two granddaughters, KiaLynne and DeLainie, whom she loved dearly.

For several years, Donna worked as a hospice home health aide, homemaker, and home childcare provider. Donna graduated from McCutchenville High School in 1956 and attended Findlay Bible Methodist Church and Church International. She enjoyed painting porcelain china, reading, and decorating cakes. Donna also enjoyed visiting with friends, family, and her "grandpups".

Donna is survived by her daughter; two granddaughters; and her sister, Judy Ogg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son; and two brothers, Richard and Rollin Wentz.

Friends and family may visit from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Bible Methodist Church, 529 Stadium Dr., Findlay, 45840. Funeral service for Donna will begin at 11 a.m. in the same location with Pastor Travis Johnson officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Bethel Cemetery.

Memorial contribu-tions in Donna's name may be made to Bible Methodist Missionary Fund.
