Diane C. Shaffer

Diane C. Shaffer, 82, of Heath, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025.

Diane was born January 6, 1943, in Washington D.C, to the late John and Nora (Beeche) Graham. She married Larry Shaffer, October 5, 1963, and he survives in Heath. Diane is also survived by her children, Jeffrey (Beth) Shaffer and Christina (Bob) Lydick; grandchildren, Ashley (Micah) Clotfelter, Lauren (Cory) Fox and Tyler (Maylia Stone) Lydick; great-grandchildren, Beverly, Eloise and Cali Ann Fox; and a sister-in-law, Sally (Keith) Phillips.

Diane was a homemaker who spent her days caring for those around her, cooking amazing meals, and giving all of her love to her family. Her grandchildren never left her home without a red lipstick kiss on the cheek. Diane spent extra time decorating for every holiday to make it special for those around her. Everything she cooked and baked was delicious, but her famous cookie and icing recipe is especially cherished.

Diane's family affectionately nicknamed her "The Queen of QVC". They now worry that QVC's stock will plummet. Diane enjoyed camping and collected magnets from her travels. She was a member of Holiday Rambler Camping Club. An accomplished pianist, Diane enjoyed playing old hymns. Kitty cats and horses were her favorite animals, but her cat, Scooter, held a special place in her heart.

Diane will be remembered for her humor, her kindness, and the love she shared.

Private Graveside Service will be in Diane's honor at Zion Bloom Cemetery, Mt. Blanchard.
