Debra Lewis Obituary
Debra Ruth Lewis, 72, of rural Arcadia, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at her residence. She was born Feb. 27, 1950, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to Gail and Ruth Altvater. Deb married Gene Lewis and they spent 45 happy years together.
Deb was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Lewis; father and mother, Gail and Ruth Altvater; and brother, Gail Altvater Jr.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Alesta Altvater of Carey. She had many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly, as well as many great-great-great-nieces and nephews.
Deb and her husband formerly owned and operated Lewis Rubbish/Disposal for many years. She was a hard worker.
Deb was loved by many people. She had a kind heart that kept on giving. She will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. Deb's funeral will be 7 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Christopher Cravens officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County. Condolences may be sent to www.coldrencrates.com.
