David Zehender Obituary
David L. Zehender, 75, of Findlay, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023.
He was born Aug. 29, 1947, in Forstoria, to Fred and Betty (Wolfley) Zehender. He married Jackie Baldwin and they divorced.
David then married Kelley Wentworth and she survives along with a daughter, Heather Huether of Findlay; son, David Zehender Jr.; stepson, Nathan (Adriana) Weaver of Deshler; brother, Daniel (Kathy) Zehender of South Carolina; sisters, Kathy Smith of Findlay, Karen (Ed) Clinger of Arlington, Doris Russler and Ann Zehender, both of Findlay, Linda (John) Sipes of Galion, and Caroline (Alan) Stevens of McComb; four grandchildren, Brandon Huether, Allyson Huether, Jayme Loach, and Justine Zehender; and two great-grandchildren, Gracie Huether and Killian Pascual.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Doug, Don, and Dennis Zehender.
David worked for 38 years at Hercules Tire Company. He loved auto racing, especially NASCAR and Sprint Car racing. David also enjoyed camping and was an avid Ohio State fan. He was a member of Moose, Amvets, and American Legion.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Private burial will take place later.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of David to Hancock County Humane Society or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
