Rose was a 1956 graduate of Findlay High School and worked as a bank teller for Key Bank in Findlay. Rose was a devoted and faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where she shared her beautiful singing voice. She was an exceptional cook and baker, widely admired by family and friends for her homemade meals, especially her strawberry/rhubarb pies, which became a cherished tradition. Rose also took great pride in her ability to provide for her family through canning, carefully preserving potatoes, meats, vegetables, and jams with skill and dedication.
She deeply cherished the time spent with her beloved Roy, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and memorable adventures. Among their favorite trips were treasured visits to Brown County, Indiana, where they created lasting memories together. Rose found great enjoyment in following her favorite sports teams and was a loyal and enthusiastic supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Above all, Rose was devoted to her family, whom she loved with her whole heart. She was known for her sweet and caring nature, balanced by a steadfast and determined spirit that those closest to her admired. Rose also greatly valued friendship and connection, and she took special joy in the gatherings and enduring bonds she shared with the ladies of her Class of 1956. Her life was marked by love, faith, and dedication, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
