David Orwig Obituary
David Merle Orwig, 65, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 26, 1957, to the late Merle and Elizabeth (Brooks) Orwig.
David is survived by his daughter, Abbigail (Parker) Winchell; sisters, Margaret (Rick) Tucker of Ashland, Kentucky, Patty (Jeff) Moore of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Mary Beth Goldsmith of Overland Park, Kansas; and two grandchildren, Avery and Axel.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Orwig.
David worked at Pizza Hut and was a member of the Moose. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
No services will take place at this time and arrangements have been entrusted to COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.

Dave was one of my best friends through school and after. He was such a good guy! So much fun and we would laugh so hard. My heart is breaking for his family right now. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was one of his drivers from KP medical that took him to dyalasis. He was always ready to be picked up and he would always say take a piece of candy(chocolate) before we leave. I will miss him. He is in a happy place now. My sympathy to all the family.

Dave-O..you were really one of a kind. So much fun and loved Abby and Brandon so much. You were a hands on dad, so funny and generous and my kids and I just loved being around you. You were the best uncle to them. You´re now back with your great parents and sister and pain free.
