David Eugene Howe

David Eugene Howe, 77, of Findlay, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Birchaven Village under the care of Bridge Hospice. He was born in Bowling Green, Ohio, November 25, 1947, to the late Norman and Eleanor (Knettle) Howe-Funk. He married his wife, Pamela (Tussing), September 20, 1970, and she survives.

David was a graduate of McComb High School Class of 1965. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Sherwin-Williams Corporation in Deshler and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family. David was an assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 308 in Findlay and a Scoutmaster of Troop 68 in Deshler. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and camping and his dog, Champ.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his two sons, Brian (Tabbatha) Howe and Bradley Howe; a sister, Cynthia Howe; and a stepsister, Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Eleanor; his stepfather, Carl Funk; a brother, Roger Howe; and stepsisters, Karen and Barb.

Visitation for David will be from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 South Park Drive, McComb, Ohio 45858. Burial will follow at Milton Township Cemetery, Custar.
