Darmis Ann Demler

Darmis Ann Demler, 90, of Findlay, passed away at The Heritage Saturday, November 15, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, May 16, 1935, the daughter of the late John E. "Ned" and Edith Marie (Kame) Doyle. On August 11, 1956, she married James C. Demler, who survives in Findlay.

Survivors include her son, David (June) Demler of Upper Sandusky; a daughter, Amy (Duane) Fovargue, of Utica; grandchildren, Julie (Craig) Roe, Peter (Janet) Fovargue, and Andrew (Kaylinn) Fovargue; great-grandchildren, Chase, Everett, Reagan, Clara, Zoe, Morgan, Remi, and Nora.

Ann was a graduate of Northeastern High School, and attended The Ohio State University, studying speech therapy and childhood education. She worked for Blanchard Valley School, Head Start for 20 years, and Swan House Tea Room. She attended Good Hope Lutheran Church, Arlington, enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, and collected antiques. Ann was a volunteer at Hancock Historical Society, the gift shop at Blanchard Valley Hospital, and at Arlington Elementary School, teaching first graders to read.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Ramsey officiating. Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to Good Hope Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
