Daniel D. Rayle

Daniel D. Rayle, 80, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025. Dan was born in Findlay August 20, 1944, to Floyd and Joy Rayle. He was a 1964 graduate of Deshler High School. On June 26, 1966, he married Linda S. Boulis, and she survives; along with a daughter, Lisa (Bruce) Girdler of Findlay; sister, Jennifer Keeran of Ottawa; grandson, Justin Girdler; great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Ember, Remington; and his beloved dog, Bella.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Joy Rayle.

He worked for Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, retiring after 37 years of service. He enjoyed boating and fishing. Dan was an avid Ohio State Buckeye, NASCAR and Steelers fan. He also enjoyed working on small engines. Dan was a member of Howard United Methodist Church, where he served on church council. He was also a member of North Baltimore Masonic Lodge, where he was the past Worshipful Master and Worthy Patron.

Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, where family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Tuesday until time of service. Pastor Gay Blau and Marianne Higley will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad. Memorial contribu-tions can be made in memory of Dan to Alzheimer's Association.
