Daniel Coy Obituary
Daniel C. Coy, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
Daniel was born May 11, 1938, in Defiance, to Daniel R. and Helen (Smalley) Coy. He married Velma L. Taylor on June 14, 1980, and she survives. Daniel worked in manufacturing at Whirlpool in Findlay for 25 years. He also worked at LaFarge in Paulding for 26 years. Daniel was a member of Moose Lodge #698 and Eagles Lodge #2118 in Findlay. He attended First Presbyterian Church of Findlay.
Daniel is also survived by stepdaughters, Becky (Bill) Clark, Lori Beth (Craig) Burnside, and Jody (Michael) Ward; sister, Mary (Terry) Woodard; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Thomas R. Coy.
Daniel's graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, at Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding, with Pastor John Mohr officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Daniel's memory to Hancock Co. Humane Society.
