Christine Spaulding Obituary

Christine Shepherd Spaulding

We are sad to announce the passing of Christine Shepherd Spaulding, known to all as Chrissy. She passed Monday, October 6, 2025, at 7:50 a.m. surrounded by love. Her battle with all of her medical issues was too much to overcome, though she fought with a fierceness and positive attitude. She did not choose a funeral but rather donated her body to science, so perhaps, in true Chrissy form, she could help someone else in the future with their battle.

She was a gift to all of us with her infectious laughter, huge smile and amazing hugs. Her life was littered with people from grade school all the way through her life. She knew everybody. She loved her family completely and would do whatever was necessary to help friends in need, care for her pets, and rescue stray animals, all while keeping her family close. She loved family events and the more the merrier.

She is survived by her husband, Cliff Spaulding; her daughter, Victoria; son Jamie; stepdaughters, Nicole and Courtney; stepson, Chad; father, Walter Shepherd; mother, Christa Bregel;, stepmother, Fran; stepfather, Don; her sisters, Kathy, Jackie and Julie; brothers, Karry and Klaus; stepsiblings, Brian, Chris, Tim, Bob and Brenda. One of the greatest joys she had was her seven grandchildren.

We can all remember Chrissy as being there in anyone's time of need, whether you needed a shoulder to lean on, a ride, a place to stay, food, or just her company; she was always there. I hope we all remember Chrissy with her big smile, her infectious laughter, her strong drive and determination, but most of all the way she loved so hard. She will leave a massive hole in our hearts and lives. So, until we meet again, Chrissy, please rest easy and watch over us to keep us in line. We will miss you terribly.

Im not sure what to say. What a beautiful soul. Chrissy came into my life 42 years ago. We had a lot of fun, she kept me in line. LOL Over the years we would run into or plan to sit and talk. The last time we talked was at the Arms Center where we were both recieving treat ment. Chrissy touched so many lives. She will forever remain in the hearts of many.
