Charles Osborne Obituary

Charles Howard Osborne

Charles Howard Osborne, 75, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

He was born Feb. 2, 1947, in White Oak, Tennessee, to the late Earl and Paulina (Lovett) Osborne. He married Sandra (Davis) on July 21, 1968, and she survives him.

Charles is also survived by two children, Jeff (Pam) Osborne of Findlay and Christina "Tina" (Malone) Smith of Hoschton, Georgia; brothers, Ralph Osborne of Salisbury, Maryland, and Larry Osborne of Cleveland, Tennessee.

Charles was an exceptional husband, father, and "Papa" to his six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a retired teacher from Findlay High School. Charle was a member of Upper Room Church of God since 1978 and was a life-long Bible teacher and elder. Charles was kind, gentle, and wise. He lived a life focused on God and family, in that order. The Godly legacy he has left his family is far and above the most treasured gift he could have given them. No wife, children, or grandchildren could ever be more blessed.

A private service will be at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery. A celebration of life service for the public and extended family will be in March in light of the holiday season and winter travel.
