Charles E. "Bud" Gould passed away peacefully with family by his side Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2024, at Hospice Care Center at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

He was born in Urbana March 15, 1939, to Richard and Elizabeth Gould. He married the love of his life, Bonnie Smith, Sept. 21, 1958, and they were married for 63 years before her passing May 19, 2022.

Bud and Bonnie graduated from Findlay High School in 1957 and never missed a class reunion. They are survived by their three children, Belinda (Ron) Harvey, Beth (Tom) Hankins and Brian. Their grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Peeps" are Matthew (Crystal) Harvey, Adam (Adam D'Agostino) Harvey, Todd (Brandon) Gano, Kelly (Alexis Hennessy) Abbott, Nathan (Paige Kutschbach) Abbott and Shelby (Cole) Cook. Great-grandchildren are Presley, Braylen, Skyler, Brynlie, Cooper, Wyatt and Oaklend.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dick; and his sister, Barbie is living in Texas. Bud is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved their uncle Bud.

Bud retired from Whirlpool Corporation working in Jeep Repair. He was known for his love and great knowledge of cars and owned and restored many throughout the years. He was part of the original Flag City Classics Car Club which gave years of enjoyment for car enthusiasts when the group cruised in downtown Findlay showing off their muscle cars.

He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and Findlay Oiler Basketball teams and enjoyed watching their games.

A celebration of Bud's life will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at Findlay Moose Lodge, 1028 W. Main Cross Street.

We have many happy memories of time together with our loving and lovable cousin, Buddy and his adorable wife, Bonnie. We were fortunate in being able to attend some of the milestones in their life together including their high school graduation, Bud´s retirement party and their 50th wedding anniversary. Our deepest sympathy to all the members of our extended family.

I graduated the same year as Bud and Bonnie two of my brothers worked at Whirlpool and He knew them. I also knew Bonnie.
I want to give the family my sincere sympathy for your loss. Bud has asked my brother if he could give him my phone number so he could tell me when the class meeting were held but I do not think that ever happened.

We have so many wonderful memories of Buddy. Car shows, working on the 53, union pop breaks and just hanging out in the shop. Buddy was one of a kind and will be missed everyday.
