Bryan R. Borkosky

Bryan R. Borkosky, 77, of Upper Sandusky, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 16, 1945, in Findlay, to Thomas G. and Ethel M. (Bushong) Borkosky. He married Christine Vehrs on Oct. 14, 1989, and they shared 33 years of marriage. Bryan and Chris loved raising a family and making a home together.

Bryan is survived by two sons, Keith (Elizabeth) Vehrs and Ryan (Ashley) Vehrs, both of Upper Sandusky; daughter, Chelsea (Adam) Lamberjack of Dublin; 11 grandchildren, Brittney Castle, Candace Plott, Andrew Plott, Daniel Plott, Hunter Mihailoff, Stephanie Wilson, Paige Vehrs, Madison Vehrs, Parker Lamberjack, Nash Lamberjack, and Kyler Lamberjack; and two sisters, Carol Gillett of Eugene, Oregon, and Mareeta (Ebby) Brewer of Lancaster.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Cynthia Nichols and Christina Wilson; grandson, Knox Vehrs; and sister, Janet LaValle.

Bryan was a 1963 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in Animal Science. He was a member of Marseilles United Methodist Church.

Bryan was a lifelong grain and livestock farmer and retired form Guardian Industry. He was member of the Peace Corp. He enjoyed raising livestock with his passion being hogs. Bryan had a big heart and loved taking the grandkids on mule rides, as well as playing cards. He treasured his children and grandchildren and their time spent together especially in the barn. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Bryan valued hard work, loyalty, and dependability.

Private burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky.
