Brenda Fruth Obituary

Brenda Sue Fruth

Brenda Sue Fruth, 72, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care, Findlay.

Brenda was born July 25, 1950, in Moorehead, Kentucky, to the late Cecil and Stella (Barnett) Bowen. At a young age, Brenda and her family moved to Bowling Green, Ohio. She graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1968. She later attended Stautzenberger College where she earned an associate degree.

Brenda met Gary Fruth while cruising in Bowling Green. The two were married Feb. 1, 1969. Gary passed away Aug. 23, 2013.

Brenda worked for more than 22 years at Brinkman's Country Corner, Findlay, in their deli department. She enjoyed going out to eat, spending time with her family, and reading. Brenda read so much that she often had a hard time finding new books to read. She enjoyed overnight trips with her family to Amish Country. Brenda was a kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor.

Brenda will be missed by her children, Stacey (Eric) Mullholand of Carey and Christopher Fruth of Fostoria; grandsons, Brett, Reece, Mason, Levi, and Wesley; sisters, Gloria (Ron) Snyder and Glenna (Roy) Fox; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Brenda was preceded in death by her stepfather, Carl Eggleston.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 West Findlay Street, Carey. A private family service and burial will take place at a later date.

Donations may be made in Brenda's honor to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home.
