Betty Main Obituary
Betty J. Main, 103, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
Betty was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Hancock County, to Fred and Edith (Mitsch) Livingston. She married Charles Main who preceded her in death.
Betty was a graduate of Mt. Blanchard High School. She was an office file clerk at Harris in Findlay, Triplett Corporation in Bluffton, and RCA in Findlay. Betty was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Bluffton, and enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, walking, and socializing.
Betty's survivors include a son, Craig (Deb) Main of Bluffton; daughter, Charlene (John) Thompson of North Fort Myers, Florida; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Louise Garner of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bob Livingston and Harold Livingston; and two sisters, Leona Wiess and Colleen Shaffer.
Betty's memorial service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ.

Just heard of Betty's passing and prayers of comfort and peace for the family. My memory of Betty is a "spit fire" and the spunkest lady in a mighty small body. She almost made that 104 birthday, but the one i heaven will be a much more of a celebration than could ever be given here on earth. Loved Betty and will always cherish the memories.

I remember seeing Betty when my brother Tim was at the memorial home. She was always a breath of fresh air!! What an energetic sweet lady.
