Barbara J. Reese

Barbara J. Reese, 75, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

She was born Dec. 18, 1946, in Findlay, the daughter of the late Roy and Rose (Bachar) Musgrave.

Barbara's survivors include a daughter, Stacey (Michael) Leist of Carey; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Zach) Morral, Brayden (Heather) Leist, and Tyler (Allison) Leist; three great-grandchildren with another on the way; brother, Dan Musgrave of Fostoria; and sisters, Elaine Riley of Mechanicsburg and Vicki Thompson of Findlay.

Barbara was also preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Garst and Beverly Ludwig.

Barbara was a member of StoneBridge Church, Findlay, where she loved her church and was known for making the coffee. She enjoyed spending time at 50 North with her friends and was involved with Galilean Ministries. She was a retired housekeeper from Hisan and Birchaven in Findlay and enjoyed word search puzzles. She loved and helped those in need. Those who knew her loved her for her heart of gold and sense of humor.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at COLDREN CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Barbara's funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Blanchard Cemetery.
