Barbara Donegan Obituary
Barbara L. Donegan, 70, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
She was born Aug. 10, 1953, in Findlay, to Donald J. and Helen M. (Lenke) Stein. Barbara married Charles Donegan in 2003 and he survives.
Barbara was a Findlay High School graduate and went onto Stautzenberger College for her associate degree. She was currently working in retail at Walmart. Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends. Known as "Betty Crocker" by her co-workers, Barbara loved to cook and bake. Her passion was sewing, in which she sewed the American Flag that was displayed at Marathon Oil Company in remembrance of 9/11. She was so proud of her accomplishment! Above all, she adored time spent and spoiling her grandsons.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Chuck; daughter, Amanda (Chris) Deitrick; grandsons, Zechariah and Isaiah; sisters, Nancy Marvin and Judy (Hank) Russell; eight nephews; and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, David S. Wood and Derrick Deitrick; brother, David J. Stein; and grandchildren, Ava and Eli Lewis.
Visitation for friends and family will be 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, until the time of Barbara's funeral at 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Pastor Jim Klausing will preside.
Memorial contributions in Barbara's name can be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or Amyloidosis Foundation at www.amyloidosis.org.

So many years but such little time together. Barb loved my mother because she helped Helen with Barbs dad. My sympathy to all of the friends and family.

My condolences to the entire family. I knew Barbara at Walmart where I worked in the OTC area of the Pharmacy. I also worked with Nancy Stein as one of my reps until I retired. After that, every time Barb saw me at Walmart she would tell me how Nancy was doing. Barb was a very kind lady. I´ll miss seeing her.
