Barbara Crawford Obituary

Barbara A. (Russell) Crawford

Barbara A. (Russell) Crawford, 76, of Fostoria, passed away at 12:04 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.

She was born March 22, 1948, in Fostoria to Edwin and Martha "Jayne" (Warner) Russell. Barbara was a graduate of Fostoria High School. She worked 31 years for Honeywell and retired in 1996.

A very sociable gal, Barbara was caring, loving and kind-hearted. She never knew a stranger. She was in the choir at Good Shepherd home, where she resided and was an avid Bingo player, and loved doing puzzles- she could never have too many. More than anything, Barbara loved her grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Shawn (Teresa) Russell, of Fostoria and Amber Shope, also of Fostoria; seven grandchildren, Shelby, Hannah, Payten, Joseph, Jaina, Felecia and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Carson, Remi, Aleiah and Freyja; and two sisters, Linda (Bill) Heinsman and Sharon (Ed Stankiewicz) Fawcett.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law, Ronna Jane Russell.

Private arrangements have been entrusted with Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.
