Arden Dale Deidrick

Arden "Dale" Deidrick, 94, of Findlay, died at 12:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born June 20, 1928, in Carey, to the late Clarence and Alla (Zahn) Deidrick. He married Bonnie L. (Crawford) on March 6, 1949, and she survives.

Dale is also survived by his son, Steven Deidrick of Findlay; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ellie, and Brody; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen (Virgil) Rader, Oreva (Harold) Phillips, and Betty (Delton) Baker; brothers, Donald (Betty) Deidrick, Kenneth Deidrick, and Robert (Iola) Deidrick; granddaughter, Kable Deidrick; and daughter-in-law, Kim Deidrick.

Dale was a 1946 graduate of Van Buren High School and retired from Western & Southern life Insurance in 1985. He served our country in U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He was a life-member of Findlay Amvets and former member of Findlay Lions Club. He also had been a volunteer at Chopin Hall.

Dale was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Findlay, where he served as Trustee, Sunday School Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and on other committees. He was also a member of Live Wire Sunday School class and the church Senior Group.

Dale was a sports enthusiast and participated in baseball, softball, football, and basketball in his earlier years. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians.

During retirement, he enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Oak Mallet Seniors League. Dale like to travel and play cards and board games with family and friends, but most of all, he enjoyed the good times with his family, especially holidays and birthdays.

Dale's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with the Rev. Richard Purvis officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at the funeral home.
