Allan Hoover Obituary
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held 10-11:00 AM Monday, January 20, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Webster Park.
Allan was born May 10, 1948 in LaSalle to Allan Cecil and Barbara (Mueller) Hoover. He was a graduate on LaSalle-Peru Township High School, Class of 1966. He worked as a sheet metal worker, traveling to different nuclear power plants.
Allan is survived by his special friend, Melissa Valdez and her daughter, Alena who was like a granddaughter to him; two sisters, Janice (Greg) Stanmar of Peru and Noreen (Keith) Kostelecky of Bloomington; his brother, David (Deborah) Hoover of Peru; and several and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Keith Hammerich.
