Alice Kay Crow

Alice Kay Crow, known to friends and family as "Kay", was born in Defiance, Ohio, January 27, 1947. Kay passed peacefully, surrounded by her family Thursday, April 9, 2026, after a short illness. Kay grew up and spent most of her life in rural Northwest Ohio. Kay was married to Daniel Crow for 54 years, and they raised six children together.

She recently retired from Whirpool Corporation after 33 years of service. Kay loved her family and spent her life doing everything she could for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. There's nothing she wouldn't do for the ones she loved. Kay also took great pride in her home and yard. She enjoyed decorating and redecorating. In addition to her kids and grandkids, she loved her cats.

Kay was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Mable Weeks; her daughter, Paula Dee Flickenger; her grandchild, Martin William Sprague; siblings, Harry Dale Kern, Jess Allen Kern, Thomas Jeffery Kern, and Carol Larsen.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Crow; children, Rochelle Dawn Wyland (Gary), Katherine Ann Jones, Sherrie McCoy (Christopher), Van Jacob Crow, and Amber Jo Gazarek (Randy); 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as her siblings, Theada Tolbert (Jimmy), Doug Tatro (Sherry), Helen Marie Coleman (Joe), Karen Sirnick (Paul), Russ Kern (Patti), Jim Kern (Lynn), and Jud Kern.

Services will be private, with Pastor Walt Sheppard officiating. She will be interred at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.
