Alice Cain Obituary

Alice L. Cain

Alice L. Cain, 81, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at her home.

She was born Aug. 4, 1942, in Fostoria, to Robert and Ruby (Johnson) Banks.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne "Boogie" Cain; children, Steve (Cheri) Cain of Fostoria, Kyle (Stephanie) Cain of Fostoria, and Rhoda (David) Howard of Cleveland; grandchildren, Keeara (Matthew) Cain-Cassidy of Columbus, Alexis (Dylen) Cain of Fostoria, and CheyAnn Howard of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Ezell, Kai, Ezryn, Zehira, Isla, and Eziko; and sister, Sandra Johnson of Fostoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and nine siblings.

Alice was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed helping others learn and understand the Bible. She was a proud woman and very fashionable, but was not a fan of having her picture taken, even though she always made sure everyone else was in photos. Alice was very family oriented. She was a good wife, mother, and grandmother. In her leisure, Alice loved watching Judge Judy.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.

She was like a grandparent for me, she enjoyed being stylish. And giving a hilarious phrase ain't no Thang but a chicken Wang. And more I loved hanging with her whether shopping, or going out in service, I miss her and wish she would of met my children but soon will see her again in the new world.
