Theresa Harbaugh Obituary

Theresa Ann Harbaugh, 85, of Jeannette, died on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, in UPMC East. She was born on Sept. 13, 1940, in Yukon, a daughter of the late Chester and Anna Catherine (Sauners) Shawley. Before retiring, she proudly owned and operated the Manor Coffee Shop. She was a member of Assembly of God Church, Jeannette, and its Dorcas Circle Women's Ministry; she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a devoted servant of God whose unwavering faith guided her life, always putting others before herself. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, she shared her love through her prayers and the healing power of her chicken noodle soup. To know her was to be truly blessed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Harbaugh Sr.; four sisters, Dorothy Matecko, Delsina Omler, Diane Hurd, and Mary Catherine Caldwell; and four brothers, Donald Shawley Sr., Chester, Bob, and David Shawley. She is survived by her children, Gary Harbaugh Jr., Benjamin Harbaugh (Susanne), Kevin Harbaugh (Kim Miller), Eric Harbaugh (Tricia), and honorary daughter, Paula (PJ) Minnicks; seven grandchildren, Kari Fabri (DJ), Kelly Sopko (Jeff), Heather Quenzler (Chris), BJ Harbaugh, Michael Branthoover, Madalyn Harbaugh (Bailey), and Luke Harbaugh; seven great-grandchildren, Mia, Addisyn, Rachel, Sadie, Carleigh, Angelo, and Jase; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, in MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, in the funeral home, with Rev. Thomas J. Kroll officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
