Judith Beckler Obituary
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Erma (Mettenbrink) Pollard of Grand Island, husband of 48 years Alfred W. Beckler who passed away in December of 2010, her sister Sharon Livingston, and brothers Jim Pollard and Bob Pollard, and sister-in-law Elaine Pollard. She is survived by her brother Jerry Pollard of Denver, her sisters-in-law Linda Pollard of Omaha, Kathy Pollard of Aurora, and brother-in-law Jim Livingston of Grand Island. Also her sons Kevin and Russell of Lincoln, Scott (and Dawn) of Omaha, and daughter-in-law Samantha of Lincoln. Grand children Remedy (Kevin and Samantha) and Ella, Hannah, Wes and wife Abby (Scott and Dawn) with a great-grandchild (Wes and Abby) due in early February.
The immediate family will be holding a private ceremony on March 21, at Christ Lutheran in Lincoln. The extended family will be holding a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Grand Island. Memorials can be donated to Trinity Lutheran School, or Heartland Lutheran High School, both in Grand Island, NE.

Judy was instrumental in gathering info and photos for the Mettenbrink family history book, which was over two years in the making. She was one of the most positive people we have known, and always willing to pitch in where needed. She will surely be missed. Our sincere sympathy to the family.
