William Meyers Obituary
William E. Meyers, 78, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
He was born July 15, 1945, the son of Edward and Madeline (Van Den Eynde) Meyers. He married Phyllis Wolf and they later divorced. He then married Robin Greer and they later divorced.
William is survived by his son, Jim (Angie) Wolf of Carey; daughter, Jody (Neal) Smiley of McComb; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Robert Meyers of Findlay and Bert (Deb) Meyers of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bruce Meyers; and sisters, Brenda Greer and Barbara Beichler.
William was employed at Whirlpool Corporation, Findlay, for over 30 years and was a retiree. He was a member of Findlay Moose Lodge #698 and Findlay V.F.W. Post #5645. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Visitation with family will be 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, until the time of William's memorial service at 2 p.m. at Findlay V.F.W. Post #5645, 315 Walnut St., Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Pastor Michael Van Den Eynde will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards American Cancer Society.
