William Courtney Obituary
William Paul "Bill" Courtney, 87, passed away peacefully Friday, May 5, 2023, at Countryside Manor, Fremont.
He was born Aug. 20, 1935, in Findlay, to Paul E. and Helen M. (Mohr) Courtney.
Bill was a mason tender and member of Laborers Union for several years before retiring. He loved trucks, wrestling, old western movies, and sitting at the bridge on Main Street watching the traffic and enjoying the sound of the water in the river. Bill's most enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and going to Wilson's for sugar pie and coffee.
Bill is survived by his sons, Robert, Douglas, and Jason Courtney; 31 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry and Paul Courtney; and sisters, Jo-Ann Siferd and Nancy Eisamon.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Bill's funeral will be 12 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Jonathan Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arcadia.
