Warren R. Kahn, 75, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 9:21 am. He was born May 8, 1949, in the borough of Queens, New York City, to the late Robert W. Kahn and Catherine M. (Schmidt) Kahn. He married Judith Neuhauser July 24, 1971, in Bowling Green.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by their three daughters, Jennifer of Livonia, Michigan, Amy of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Melinda (Rand) Bucher of Findlay. Other survivors include his brother, Ken (Tammy) Kahn of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and sister, Karen (David) Powers of Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico.

Warren graduated from Westerville (South) High School in 1967. He furthered his education at Bowling Green State University, receiving a BA degree in 1970. Later in life, he received a master's degree in personal finance from The College for Financial Planning, Denver, Colorado.

Upon his graduation from BGSU, he immediately began what was to become a 43-year career in trust and estate administration. He served with banks located in the following towns, Detroit, Michigan, St. Clairsville, Tiffin, Panama City, Florida, and Warsaw, Indiana. In 1998 he joined Fifth Third Bank in Findlay as lead administrator for the trust department. Warren retired from Fifth Third Bank as Vice President Senior Trust Officer May 2, 2014.

Throughout his career he earned numerous designations in personal finance including Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Outside of his professional life, Warren enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family, walking his beloved dog, Lily, and using his financial acumen to help local charities and his church. Warren also enjoyed giving lectures on charitable giving and serving as a lector for early services at Trinity Episcopal Church in Findlay.

There will be no visitations to mark Warren's passing. The immediate family will have a private memorial service at a future date. Those wanting to honor Warren's memory are kindly invited to make donations to Findlay Hancock Community Foundation, the endowments to benefit United Way and 50 North.

I am very sorry to hear of Warren's passing. I worked with him at Fifth Third for many years. He was always so kind...and PROUD of his children. He told me so many stories.
He will be missed.

I am sad to learn of the passing of Warren. He was a great help to us at the City Mission during the years that he came over with his civic group to help serve meals to the homeless. May you find peace and comfort in the days to come.

To Warren's family--I just wanted to express my sadness about Warren's death. He was always a man of honor, good humor, and integrity. I got to know him while working at The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation and continued that friendship in The Symposium. Warren was always supportive of those with whom he interacted and a huge advocate for our community. Please know he was appreciated and will be missed.
