Virginia Sampson Obituary
Virginia Marie Sampson, 77, of Forest, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at Hardin Hills Nursing Home, Kenton.
She was born March 5, 1945, in Kenton, to the late Herman F. and Edna M.(Hamilton) McMahon.
Virginia is survived by her children, Christina Sampson of Forest, Rebecca Parsell of Kenton, and Kent (Susan) Sampson of Carey; sister, Mary Lou Rainsburg; and stepsister, Marjorie (Tom) Fix.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Lee Sampson; sister, Donna Mae McBrayer; and stepbrother, John Lamb.
Mrs. Sampson was a cashier at Meijer. She enjoyed craft shows and flea markets and was an avid reader.
Virginia's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Pummell officiating. Interment will be at Hueston Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Forest Jackson Public Library in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S. Patterson St., Forest, Ohio, 45843. To extend a condolence or share a memory, visit www.shieldsfh.com.

Virginia was a good friend all the way through school. We had a great time learning to dance and going to ball games and doing "sleep-overs.". It was always great to get together with her at class reunions and tell stories on each other. I'll miss her and I know she leaves a hole in the hearts of her family. Praying that God will help you with your sorrow.
