Violet Hupp Obituary
Violet Corene Hupp, 84, of Bloomdale, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 15, 1938, in LeRoy, West Virginia, to Olin D. and Anna (Wilkinson) Nuzum. She married George B.O. Hupp on March 12, 1960, and he preceded her in death Feb. 12, 2012.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Fred) Osborn; son, Kevin (Stacy) Hupp; grandchildren, Chrystal (Michael) Sellars, Brent Osborn, Brian (Jessica) Osborn, Tara Osborn, and Ashley Hupp; great-grandchildren, Michael Sellars, Abygael Osborn, Benjamin Sellars, Aaron Sellars, Elijah Osborn, and Evelyn Osborn; sisters, Delores (Daryl) Bushong and Alfreda Fellwock; brother, Conrad (Judy) Nuzum; and sister-in-law, Sharon Nuzum.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, George B. Hupp; sister-in-law, Sharon J. Hupp; brothers, Delmer (Nina) Nuzum and Olin Nuzum Jr.; and brother-in-law, Herbert Fellwork Sr.
Violet retired from Harris/Intersil after 42 years. She also loved to babysit for all the neighborhood children and later, all her great-granchildren.
Violet's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with Pastor Glen Hammons officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the funeral home.
