Tracy Deann Settlemire

Tracy Deann Settlemire, 47, of rural Findlay, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 18, 1976, in Atlantic, Iowa. She married Weston Settlemire on Sept. 1, 2010, and he survives.

Tracy is also survived by her mother, Barbara Hastings of Dunkirk; three sons, Tyler (Brittany Reigle) Richard and Seth Richard, both of Arlington, and Waylon Settlemire at home; two grandchildren, Savannah and Jackson; three brothers, Jerry "LJ" (Terry) Smith of Celina, James (Amber) Smith of Dunkirk, and Derek (Reagan) Hastings of Forest; sister, Karen Benninger of Tennessee; in-laws, Don and Stacy Settlemire of Findlay; sister-in-law, Kelsi (Travis) Hardwick of Lima; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Smith; stepfather, Gerald Hasting; and brother, Donald Hastings.

Tracy attended Hardin Northern High School (class of 1995) and received her GED in 1997 from Ohio Hi-Point. She worked for Lowe's RDC #990 for over 20 years. She enjoyed crafts, decorating, flowers, shopping, baking, and the Christmas season. She was an avid fan of University of Michigan and the Raiders. Tracy loved spending time with her family and was very proud to be a grandma.

Tracy's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at the funeral home.
